Spectrum Labs, a startup that uses artificial intelligence to track and flag hate speech and online harassment, etc., has raised $10 M in Series A funding. The company plans to use this funding to scale its AI platform and expand itself in the market.
Spectrum Labs has an excellent AI platform called Guardian. It consists of algorithms and APIs to moderate, track, flag, and stop harassment, hate speech, scams, radicalization, and 40 other kinds of toxic behavior profiles, in English and multiple languages. Many companies such as Riot Games, Pinterest, the Meet group, Mercari, DTC brands, etc. use the Spectrum Labs’ AI platform to eradicate hate speech and remove toxicity online.
With the U.S. presidential election not far away, online conversations, viral videos, news clips, and misleading ads will likely be everywhere on social media, influencing people’s decisions as a means of anti-campaigning. At these crucial times, technology like this, developed by Spectrum Labs, comes to the rescue.
