Hyperhuman is a Romanian startup transforming workout videos into personalized fitness content by using artificial intelligence. The intelligent platform produces and broadcasts the workout material to enhance the fitness quotient in individuals. It can recognize the exercises being performed, edit the videos and recommend personalized workouts to all of its users. In the recent seed funding rounds, Hyperhuman raised 500k euros. The company is in a private beta mode, that is, for now, it is only available to select trainers. Therefore, the funds that have been raised will be utilized towards refining the platform and developing the mobile app that will power the organization to produce, distribute and monetize the video workouts to a wider audience.
Hyperhuman as an AI-powered fitness product platform was established in the year 2020 by Bogdan Predusca, Dan Nica, and David Teodorescu. The platform works in three simple steps:
- Recording Key Moves- in this step, the trainer must record a short video with a few reps for each of the exercises. Once this is done, the AI technology of the platform automatically breaks it down into individual exercises.
- Creating the Workout- in the second step, all the exercises recorded are put together and augmented for a powerful workout.
- Sharing/Using the Workout- the steps mentioned above ensure the creation of a personalized workout that can be accessed by the clients at any given time on the Club app by Hyperhuman.
Hyperhuman does not aim not to replace anything but to have a quicker and more effective solution to the workout problems of both the trainers and their clients. For this purpose, the company uses an intelligent algorithm with machine learning, object recognition, and AI-driven video editing. Everything is done under one umbrella, which streamlines the entire process and makes it easy for fitness content creators to follow.
With the help of technology, the trainers can focus solely on their moves and let AI do the rest of the heavy lifting for them. Key insights from the video are extracted and are reused for building content. The complex process of producing a video and then editing it is completely done away with this platform. This allows the trainers to interact with more clients, create multiple variations of their workouts, and guide their followers with personalized voiceovers.
Fitness is one arena where people require an individualized approach instead of the basic and standardized one. This platform claims to provide just that without putting in the extra effort. The videos created at the forum are constantly fed back to the machine learning algorithm, which makes it faster and more intelligent. The workout content offered is based on personalized goals, biometrics, and specific training environments.
Hyperhuman wants to enhance the trainers’ content, and in view of that, they have promised that the fast-growing platform will continue to have a free version of the product. The app, which is only available in the beta version and to a select group of trainers, is planning a full launch this year, and the waiting list has already been opened for the trainers to get early access to the Hyperhuman website.
